This is the acrylic painting of an animal that I chose to do. For the animal, I chose to do a peacock because I was thinking about an animal and I saw a peacock in the room and I thought that it would be a good idea to do that instead of just an ordinary animal. I used color effectively because I used mostly a cool color scheme but also used a bit of a complementary color scheme with the orange and the blue in the painting. One thing I think I could fix in my painting was the strokes in the back, they kind of look like they were just put on there sloppy and I think I could've taken more time to make them actually look nice. One thing I like about my peacock painting is the spacing and how I used all the space in the painting. Another thing that I like about my painting is the values in the painting and how there are darks in the back and how there are some lights in the painting. Overall, I just love the composition of the painting and how I painted the peacock.
