This is my work of the watercolor abstract painting that I had to do. I chose to do leaves and a little flower because I didn't really know what else to do and when I was researching reference photos, doing leaves and flowers popped up in my head. I used color effectively because I used mostly a cool color scheme and added just some of the warm color scheme in the mix of the painting. I really just love almost everything that I did with my painting, for example, how I did the textures on the leaves to make them look like actual leaves. The thing I wish I could fix in my painting was maybe not keeping the pencil marks on the flower, I could've outlined the lines in black paint or something and I also thought that I could've added extra leaves since there's a lot of empty space still in my photo. I love the values in my composition because there's a lot of that cool color scheme in the painting and I just love the unity of the picture.
