This is the watercolor landscape painting that I had to do. I chose to do one with a road because I haven't done a landscape with a road before and I thought I would give it a try. The majority of my picture uses a wet on dry technique and then for the sky, I used the wet on wet technique. I used color effectively because I used a lot of the cool color scheme and a bit of the warm color scheme in the sky because of the red, bits of orange and bits of yellow in it. One thing I could fix about the painting is the road, I think that I could've used a better shade of grey than the shade I used. I also love how I used all the space of the painting instead of just using parts of it. I also love just the composition of the painting itself, I think that I chose a pretty good reference photo. I do think that the values of my painting are pretty good especially the grass because, for the grass, I had to use different shades of green.
