This is my work of the oil pastel painting of a landscape that I did. I used color effectively because I used a cool color scheme of mostly blues and greens. I also used red for the trees to make them duller so they could try to look like actual trees. I like how I made the sky because I made it as a color shift from the really light blue to the peachy-orange color. I love that I used all the space instead of just doing part of the space. I also loved the values of my work and how I used the darks of the green to really bring out the trees and used the blues to bring out the lights and darks of the mountains and the river. I do think that the contrast in my drawing is amazing because of the lights and darks with my greens and blues. Also, I do think that the artwork has unity in it because I feel like it has more realisticness than what I thought it was going to have.
